The short version
All sales are final once your clean copy has been rendered and made available for download. If a charge succeeds but our system never produces a downloadable file, we will refund you in full. Otherwise, please review your edit carefully before clicking Buy & Download.
What you’re buying
A purchase on Clip It Live unlocks a watermark-free render of one specific project, plus a backup download link sent to the email address you enter at checkout. The unlock is tied to the project ID created from the edit you previewed before paying.
You are not buying a subscription, an account, ongoing storage, or unlimited future renders. There is no recurring charge.
No refunds after delivery
Because a digital video file cannot be returned, and because rendering and storage costs are incurred the moment your purchase succeeds, we do not issue refunds after the clean copy is available for download. “Available for download” means any of the following has occurred:
- the success screen has shown a working Download my video button for your project; or
- the backup download link has been sent to the email Stripe captured at checkout; or
- the file has actually been downloaded from either of those links.
By clicking Buy & Download you confirm that you have previewed the edit, that it is the version you want, and that you understand this no-refund rule.
Why we have this rule
We keep prices low and the product account-free by being honest about cost. Each export consumes:
- Compute time to encode your final 1080p video;
- Storage and egress bandwidth to deliver the file to you and host the backup link;
- Payment-processing fees that Stripe charges us per transaction (these are not refunded to us when we refund you).
Once the file leaves our servers, the work and the money are spent. A no-refund rule lets us avoid raising prices for everyone to subsidize a small number of post-delivery refund requests.
The few exceptions
We will issue a full refund in the following situations:
- Render failure on our side. Your payment succeeded but our system was unable to produce a working downloadable file, and you cannot retry successfully.
- Duplicate charge. You were charged more than once for the same project due to a system error.
- Unauthorized charge. You did not authorize the payment (please dispute with your bank in addition to contacting us).
- Mandatory consumer-law refund. A refund is required by a non-waivable law in your country or state of residence.
We may also offer a one-time goodwill credit — at our sole discretion — for a re-render if a clearly identified issue is reported within 24 hours of purchase and the original file was not downloaded.
How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout, and include:
- the project ID (visible in the URL of the editor);
- the date and approximate time of your purchase;
- a short description of the issue.
We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks & disputes
Please email us first — chargebacks cost us a fee even when the dispute is resolved in our favor, and we are usually faster than your bank’s dispute process. Filing a chargeback for a charge that you actually authorized and for which the file was delivered may be considered a breach of these Terms and could result in suspension of access to the Service.
Statutory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country or state of residence. In particular, EU consumers should note that the right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive does not apply to digital content delivered immediately with the consumer’s prior express consent — which is what happens when you click Buy & Download.
